Privacy policy
RingLeap
This policy applies to the RingLeap iPhone app and the simple website at ringleap.app. Last updated April 16, 2026.
Summary
RingLeap does not create user accounts, does not run its own analytics system, and does not use custom tracking or usage metrics from the developer.
The app stores a small amount of gameplay and settings data on your device so the game can remember your best score, onboarding state, sound and haptics preferences, and whether ads have been removed.
On-device data
The following information is stored locally on your device:
- best score
- onboarding progress
- sound and haptics settings
- local remove-ads state used by the app interface
This local data is not sent to the developer by the app.
Advertising
The free version of RingLeap shows ads through Google AdMob, including banner ads and occasional interstitial ads.
Google may process device, ad, and diagnostic information to deliver ads according to its own policies and the permissions available on your device.
On iPhone, Apple may show an App Tracking Transparency permission prompt. Your choice is handled by Apple and applied at the device level.
If you buy the remove-ads product, ads are disabled in the app.
In-app purchase
RingLeap offers a one-time remove-ads purchase through Apple's in-app purchase system.
Payment processing, billing, and purchase history are handled by Apple. The developer does not receive your full payment card information.
Game Center
RingLeap can submit scores to Apple's Game Center leaderboard if Game Center is available and you are signed in.
Any Game Center nickname, leaderboard placement, or related account information is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
